The beach is incredibly wide here. When the tide is all the way out it takes forever to get all the way down to the water.
Even though the tide was receding, the have creep-up-farther- than-you-think waves. I got wet, but Boone cleverly jumped up on a rock.
Mostly the beach is sand, but this stretch of rocks has all kinds of neat little tide pools, full of crabs and anemones and mussels, and people walking dogs...
And nose-suckers!
